Practice News
As of December 31, 2011, Dr. Cooper will no longer be at the Barrington Health Center. Current Dr. Cooper patients will automatically be reassigned to either Joan Smith, MD or Jennifer Thomas, APRN. Letters outlining this information have been sent. Please use the practice phone line of 603-664-2135 to contact the office with questions as the phone number on the recent mailing was incorrect. After Hours Clinic
We are pleased to announce our new After Hours Clinic that offers appointments for acute/sick visits on Saturday mornings. The After Hours Clinic is located at 10 Members Way, Suite 203 in the Wentworth Professional Building in Dover, NH. The hours are 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and appointments can be booked three ways:
1. Book a Saturday morning acute/sick appointment through your regular provider's office beginning Friday at 12:00 P.M.
2. Call your primary care provider's office Saturday morning and use the prompt for the nurse triage or provider on-call service to request an appointment time.
3. The After Hours Clinic Phone Line is available on Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at 603-609-6930.
ePrescribing Available
The Barrington Health Center is pleased to announce the availability of ePrescribing. E-Prescribing is a computer-based transmission and filling of a prescription between your provider and pharmacy. We encourage you to contact your pharmacy directly for refills to facilitate a faster turnaround time for refill requests.
Medicare Annual Wellness Exam
The Barrington Health Center is now providing Medicare Annual Wellness Exams. Refer to the attached document on Frequently Asked Questions and the attached Annual Wellness Exam Questionnaire. Please contact the practice if you have any additional questions regarding this exam and eligibility or to schedule your appointment.
